A poem for my beloved Sultan Moulana Sheikh Nazim
How does one prevent
the torrent of the restless unceasing waves
rushing headlong in search of the ocean of love
where it shall hide itself eternally
finally becoming the ocean itself.
There never was anything
there was only He
this was a secret hidden from me
only now to be revealed
you took my hand
when I was confused
and gave my life direction
in the process you confused me more
you then called this a “test”
then you shouted “let go”
and all was then revealed
this you did and unchained the thoughts
that could not soar over the intellectual domain
by teaching me the secret of you are the doer
you made logic absolute fail
when thoughts cease and the mind is still
and is not mixed with mental strain
the time is right and the lessons learned
and revelation takes place.
In this endless Universe
where reptiles hold away
your blessed smile became my resting place
which brightened up my life
Lo! You are the sun at the break of day
This life’s journey which is my pilgrimage
has no resting place or sanctuary
except in the comfort of your smile
Where is the world without you
Where is the dream without you
Where is the way without you
Where are the songs without you
There is no world without you
Nor was there any dream except you
So we could not find a way without you
And your way
is our eternal song
In every shape and form
you appear to me
in every song and tune
it is you that is heard
what did I ever see before
and the secret was whispered to me
that it had always been
“You, You, You”

Salaam Sis Sabiha, Masha Allah! I am in the state of awe after reading this touching poetry. We are really lucky that we are under the umbrella of Sultan-ul-Aulia. All I can do at the moment is pray to Almighty Allah to raise us on the day of judgement as the followers of Sheikh Nazim A Kamil Wali. Ameen!

Subhan Allah this is what the Prophet SAW used to love, i am sure if someone made dua using the above words it would be answered !! Allah o Akbar !!
