Dear Tasneem,here's some explications
Salam aleykoum
Name
The Surah takes its name from the word An-Naba 'content in the second verse. It is not only a name but also the title of his theme that Naba 'means the news of the Resurrection and the Hereafter and the whole sura is on the same theme.
Period of Revelation
As we explained in the introduction to Surah Al-Mursalat, themes of all suras Al-Qiyamah An-Nazi `at, clearly resemble each other, and they seem to have been revealed early in the Meccan period.
Theme and Topics
Its theme is that of Surah Al-Mursalat, namely, to affirm the existence of the Resurrection and the Hereafter, and warn of the consequences it can have if they believe in these truths, or if deny them.
When the Holy Prophet - peace and blessings be upon him - was first started preaching Islam in Mecca, his message contained three parts:
1.What is not associated with Allah in divinity;
2.What Allah appointed him His Messenger;
3.Que this world will end and a different world will be established when all previous and later generations will be resurrected with the same body in which they had lived and worked in the world, then they will be called to explain their beliefs and actions. Those who distinguish themselves as believers and righteous in this trial will go to Paradise and those who happen to be wicked and unbelievers will go to hell forever.
The first element preached by the apostle was highly unpleasant for the people of Mecca, although it is true they did not call into question the existence of Allah. They believed in His Supreme Support, The Creator and Providence and also admitted that all these people they considered their deities were themselves creatures of Allah. Therefore, in this regard the only thing they objected to was the fact that they had no part in the attributes and the divine power and divine existence in itself or not.
The second element, the Meccans were not willing to accept. However, they probably could not deny was that during the 40 years of life that the Holy Prophet - peace and blessings be upon him - had lived with them before he announces his prophetic mission, they don ' were never found in him a liar and deceitful person or adopt illegal methods for personal purposes. They themselves admitted that he was a man with wisdom, righteousness and moral superiority. Therefore, despite the load of a thousand false accusations, to say nothing to make others believe they have found it very difficult for themselves believe that even if it was an honest and fair in each business and occupations of everyday life, yet God forbids a liar to claim a prophet.
Thus, the first two elements were not also disturbing for the third Meccan. When they were introduced, they would have laughed merrily, expressing an unusual way their surprise, considering it as far from reason and not, have qualified incredible and inconceivable even in their assemblies. But in order to bring them towards Islam, it was absolutely essential to penetrate the doctrine of the Hereafter in their minds, because without belief in this doctrine, it was not possible at all they can adopt a serious attitude in this regard right from wrong, they can change their patterns of values regarding the good and bad, abandon the worship of the world and they might then be inclined to follow the path that Islam invites them to follow.
Therefore in the early suras revealed in Mecca, the doctrine of the Beyond impressive and anxiety than anything else. However, the arguments on the Beyond have been donated so that the doctrine of the Oneness of God (Tawheed) is also steeped in the minds automatically. They also contain brief arguments, here and there, to confirm the truth of the Holy Messenger of Allah and the truth of the Quran.
Having understood why the theme of Beyond has been so frequently repeated in the Suras of this period, now have a look at the theme of this Surah. It contains firstly an allusion to public conversations and the doubts expressed in every street of Mecca and in every meeting of the inhabitants of Mecca on the news of the Resurrection.
Then he was asked to deniers: Do you not see the land which We have laid out for you like a carpet? Do you not see the mountains that we have firmly implanted in the ground? Do not you consider your own people how we've created by pairs of men and women? Do not you consider your sleep by which we encourage you to seek rest for a few hours after all the hours and hard work so you stay in shape for the work of this world? Do not you see the alternation of night and day that we so regularly perpetuate precisely according to your needs and your circumstances? Do you not see the extremely complex system of the heavens above you? Do you not see the sun through which you receive your light and your heat? Do not you see the rain falling from the clouds and help produce maize and vegetables and lush gardens? These things they tell you only that the power of the Almighty who created them, can not cause the Resurrection and to establish the Next World?
Thus, from the supreme wisdom which clearly prevails in the world around you, only you understand that although every part and function of the earth are reflected, life would still be meaningless?
Nothing could be more absurd and illogical after the appointment of the man as manager and granting broad enforcement capabilities, he left this world after having done its part and it is given accountability. It will not be rewarded, not receive any credit for his work satisfactory, nor be subject to trial and punishment for inadequate performance of his duty.
Having given these arguments, it was categorically stated that the Day of Resurrection will certainly result in its scheduled time. As soon as the trumpet has sounded, all that has been predicted to appear before their eyes, and if you believe in him today or not, then you go out en masse to some place where you will be based dead and buried so accountable. Your denial will in no way to escape this inevitable event.
Then, in verses 21 to 30, it was said that every single mischief of those who expect no account of performance takes place and who rated lie Our Revelation, is counted and recorded with us, and Hell is always on the lookout for chastise and punish them fully for all their acts.
Also, in verses 31 to 36, the best reward of those who have lived as responsible persons in the world and have prepared their life in the Hereafter have been mentioned. They have been reassured they will not only richly rewarded for their services but in addition they will also receive gifts sufficiency.
In conclusion, the Divine Justice on the Beyond has been depicted, making it clear that no one can vouch for his disciples and partners to be forgiven, no one will speak without permission, and permission will be granted provided that the intercession be made only for which the authorization was given intercession, intercessor and say only what is right. Moreover, the authorization of intercession will not benefit only those who have recognized the truth in the world but sin rebels against God and the deniers of the truth deserve no intercession.
Sura has been concluded with this warning: the coming of the day with what is predicted will surely take place. Do not think it is still distant, is close by. Now, who wants, let him believe and take the path to his Lord. But for those who remain unbelieving, despite the warning, it will have all his actions placed before him and he howled with regret: "Oh, if only I was not born!" At that time, regret will be about the same world to which he is so passionate today

As salaamu alaikum Brother Mohamed,
Thank you for your time and explanation. my reason for asking before, was to connect sura 78 with the dua'a for protection that was given. In that blog, you attached this sura's number at the end, thus my curiosity to know its' connection to the dua'a, which in this case, given for our present day pandemic of the swine flu. Definition of Fellowship:
1. The companionship of individuals in a pleasant atmosphere.
2. A close association of friends sharing similar interests.
