The Haqqani Fellowship

Respected Brothers and Sisters,

Some Brothers(Tabligh Jammat) from South Africa went to Cyprus not too long ago.On their return they have been critical on their experience of the Hadrah.
Can someone please post supporting evidence from the Quaran and/or Sunnah validating the practice of Hadrah.

Many Thanks

Yusuf

Bismillahirrahmaanirrahiym,
wassalaatu wassalaamu 'alaa Rasulillah wa 'alaa aalihi wa sahbihi wa sallim
Assalaamu alaykum wa rahmatullah!

My brother what is Islam but the celebration of Allah and his most beloved servant Habibi Rasulullah sallallahu alyhi wa sallam .many times the sahaba used to dance in front of holy Prophet sallallahu alyhi wa sallam they used to do it not only yearly but all the time and intentionally in front of Holy Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam..They used to work and sing as well. There was even a pulpit for one of the sahaba who used to sing the praises of holy Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam.
The masha'ikh are masters of the sunna and truely understand "why" a sunna needs to be practiced for the benefit and healing of the jama'ah.Many times we have experienced with our masters Holy Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam coming and awliyaAllah when we have recited darood and sang and swayed for Allah and holy Prophet sallallahu alyhi wa sallam.
The coming together soley for the remembrance of Allah and salawah of Holy Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam brings Holy Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam. The salafiyya are closed minded to the spirituallity of The Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam ,for them Islam is only laws and actions, never do they talk of immense love for Allah or Holy Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam. As for the Tablighi, they seem to be stuck between the salafiiya and the followers of tareeqa.Dont worry about who is right and who is wrong. You should just worry about your relationship with Allah and try to have the sincere intentions.I have sent you some links to which you may listen to Shaykh ul Islam Shaykh Taher Al Qadri ,and no Im not Pakistani Im actually Puerto Rican and american.Hope Allah blesses you with tuafeeq and love Allah for the sake of Holy Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam amin amin amin
Salam.. tabligh jamat is consist from various people background..from the people who r zero in deen to the people who r knowlegable.. it is not nice 4 u bashir to divide islam into tariqa, salafiyya, or tabligh.. we are ummah of nabi saw..even tabligh people dont call themselves as tabligh.. Da'wah is a must for everyone..it is not the job for them only..but it is ours.. All the people who r close to Allah do dawah.. for me, before i do some work of Islam, i will make istikharah.. All of us are granted by Allah with this prayer.. so why we want to say that i am right.. n u r wrong?? Just make istikharah and Allah will give the best 4 u...believe in Him..
Thank you for your kind words.

As Salam Aleykoum

Jama'at Tabligh is a very vast thing , and people don't "belong' or not to jama'at tabligh. Therefore, there are many people from turuq participating in khuruj and most of tabligh sheikhs are more or less linked with tassawuf.

Never forget that the founder of this noble organisation , namely sheikh Mohammad Ilyas (may Allah bless him and reward him wjth firdaws) was a sheikh in tassawuf.

Therefore , the basics of Jama'at tabligh have much more to do with sufism than with salafiya. Some salafi infiltrated jama'at tabligh though, that's why now you can find some of their places with dalil al kheyrat along with Kitab al Tawhid.

Quite surprising but that's the way it is.At least , the way it is in France :)

Shah Naqshband on Fellowship

The Imam of the Naqshbandi Order said, "طريقتنا الصحبة والخير في الجمعية - Tariqatuna as-suhbah wa 'l-khayru fi 'l- jam`iyyah" - “Our way is fellowship, and the goodness is in the gathering”.

Definition of Fellowship:

1. The companionship of individuals in a pleasant atmosphere.

2. A close association of friends sharing similar interests.
