How did you convert to islam ?

Merci Jamila! Voici donc la suite .....asalamalaikum wa Rahmatullah wa Barakatu. Bismillah

...... M'y heart was open.... And Allah Subhanu sent me the one who would become my husband later on. A Saudi guy came to our house , supposedly to talk to me about Islam. I agreed to listen to his talks. And he started so:" Right now, you are as if in a dark room, no light whatsoever ... You can't see the reality of things. The switch on the wall is the light with which you'll see the world as it really is, the switch on the wall is the Shahada of La ilaha illalla Muhammad RassulAllah....
My heart was open & I gave in. Allah Subhanu enlightened my soul with His Love & Mercy.I became Muslim.
But the story doesn't finish here. The Saudi Muslim guy proposed . At first, I would hesitate. Saudi Arabia was an unknown country in the year 77. French would say Arabie c'est ou' dites?( meaning: where is Saudi Arabia on the map?) a desert , with camels & petrol.... I finally married my man and after a year or so , I flew to the place of The Two Holy Mosques ..
Amsterdam, winter 78, it's minus 18. 6 hours later, I'm in Jeddah SaudiArabia, and it's 40 plus. My life will change forever...
I'm on the Holy ground for 35 years now. Muslim Saudis didn't always understand a new convert( traditions , sometimes , beeing stronger than faith) but With Allah's Grace, I went forward . And I really appreciate to be between Mecca & Medina.(the final episode would be my taking Bayat with Sheikh Nazim(q). To be continued InshaAllah....)

My final draft...I think it was last year. Miners in Argentina had been kept underground for 3 months. All the news were talking about it.I followed with great interest the amazing event: around 30 people were trapped with little food & water, everyone trying to take them out. I remember , I prayed for them. The news were really catching!! .....
Then few months later, while checking the net, I found out those same guys became Muslim! It was too good to be true! So, I wondrered how & with whom they converted.This is the first time I saw our Beloved Sheikh Nazim (q). I noticed his gentleness , his love for his followers , his beautiful attitude & his beautiful green turban!!!MashAllah! MashaAllah !I left the net for awhile ... But after some time, I checked up again, and to my amazement I saw that great converts like Yusuf Islam(Cat Stevens) Muhammad Ali(the greatest boxer) , great sheikhs like Habib Al Jiffri were all lovers of this awesome Wali(q)I checked once in a while his beautiful Sobhas... And then , I became addict to his teachings, I finally found a sheikh I could understand .... I had to become his follower!! I'm trying here & there to contact him to take allegiance (Baya) No way..I can't do it anymore, my love for him so strong...then Subhanalllah..On one of the Sheik's sites , I see that you can take Baya on line! Alhamdullillah !Alhamdullillah!!Alhamdullillah!All praise to Allah who made me Muslim, guided me through His Mercy!! Gave me the Blessings of Sheikh NazimYa Allah!Antal Karim!!You didn't forget a weak sinner like me! Ya Allah! I Do love You!! Even though I'm the worst of the worst! But through Your Mercy, you accepted me to be one of Ummat Muhammad Mustafa Al Karim, Sallallahu Alaik Ya RassulAllah !!! Alhamdullillah !! Alhamdullillah !!! Alhamdullillah !!All praise be to The Lord of the Worlds!!! Ya Allah!!!!!
