SubhanAllah brother,

Assalaamu alaykum wa rahmatullah. What other kind of muslim do you want to be ?Either way it is your right what ever you do in the end.It didnt even seem like you gave it a chance. There must have been a reason why you were here,...Maybe ?
Well I'm a revert, I have been a Sunni for over 8 yrs. After alot of study, I no longer believe Sunni Islam is the right path. As for Sufism, I must say I'm not that impressed.
Salaam,
Sorry to see you go. You may remove your account in the settings link in the upper right box, then by clicking "Leave The Haqqani Fellowship."
Alternatively, if you get an error message, you could ask the administratiors to suspend your account.
In either case you are welcome to come back and have your account reinstated at any time.
Wasalam,

looks like he is still here....someone can still advice...basically...a rejection of sunni-sufism can be a result of a misunderstanding of certain concepts..so perhaps abdul majeed, if he is really out to find the truth...can approach established sufi scholars like shaykh hisham who can elequoently explain to him what he needs to know........In the end we can only make du'as...all guidance is from Allah

Exactly Im happy to see at least someone trying to explain to the brother and try to find out why it was that he was leaving. It looks like he already left, we could have tried to convince him otherwise by correcting his misunderstanding.
We would like to talk with abdul Majeed if at all possible. No strings,no coercion,....just understanding.
I'm not just rejecting Sufism, I'm rejecting all of Sunni Islam. I don't want to sound rude but I believe the very foundation of Sunni Islam is weak, and some things in Sunni Islam, I find down right annoying. Like four Fiqh Schools three Aqidahs if you count the Atharis and so on.
What ever religion you adhere to dear brother there are going to be master who specialize in particular sciences ,..this is even true among dunya schools.First of all there wasnt just "four "schools there were literally thousands of schools or madhahib during the first three centuries of Islam. However ,after the third generation of Islam descension started and those particular schools that are alive today is what has come to us in authentic traditions, there were many other schools such as from Sufyan Aththawri,ja^fari and so on etc

Brother, I understand this but Sunnis now have four Fiqh Schools this is annoying. A good example of this is where do you put your hands in Salat, Hanafis and real Hanbalis say below the Naval most Malikis say just let them hang and most Salafi'i say keep them in Between your chest and naval, whats worse is when fights break out because of this, I have seen it happen.

But in the End, I did not leave Sunni Islam because of the contradicting Fiqh but because of Aqida and leadership Issues.
Masha'Allah brother ,
First I would like to say thatAhlussunaah wal jama'ah agree unanimously (meaning the four schools ) agree in 75% of the shari'ah meaning they do not differ in their rulings in 75% ,there are however the other 25% that the four Al Imams differ in.Now these differences themselves are not from the Imaams themselves dear brother they are derived from various hadith. For example the holy Prophet sallallahu alayhi w asllam for the most part made the prayer always the same way with the exception that at different times he did hold his hands differently for various reasons and there are other parts that were said differently as well as other rules concerning the salat as well as their prerequisites and fara'id and wajib. Sahaba all took from these practices some did the rpayer this way and some did it another and they all learned it from Holy Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam. As far as brothers fighting about this ,..this is nothing but extreme ignorance and foolishry. They obviously are not learning from authentic scholars nor trying to work on their nufus (ego's).Either way the four Imaams made their rulings from these different ahadith so that is why you see in some schools slight variations.
And i noticed you also said that you were effected by different beliefs and others aqeedah.Truth be told my brother true Islam and true Aqeeda is only with the awliyaAllah.Holy Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam mentions this in ahadith by saying what means, that "There will always be 40 abdals in ashsham and true faith will be with them"
This means true Islam, true aqeeda true understanding and application,...in essence true guidence. One thing i have learned from the masters of this way is that we iwll not tell you "how to be" or "what to be " unless you are looking for this advice. But I can say that both shia and sunni sufi (and there is a major difference between sunni sufi and just plain sunnis)
muslims will always agree on this ,That we have feirce Love and adoration for the holy family of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam and that we follow tariqa (meaning we are trying to follow the ways of Ihsan or sincerity)

 Assalamo alaikum

I'm no longer a Shia, I have come back to Sunni Islam. Right now I'm studying the book, Notions that must be corrected by Shaykh Muhammad Alawi al-Maliki. I'm going to be following the Shafi'i Madhab.

Salaam alaykum wa rahmatullah,

Brother majid, Whether you are Shia, salafi or Sunni we would have accepted you either way.For us, you have always been our MUSLIM brother. That being said , so long as you are "trying" that is the best state and your intentions is Allah subhanahu wa ya 'alaa.
