“Ka‘b (Radi Allah Anhu) has narrated: A comet with a bright tail will appear from the east before the appearance of Imām Mahdī.”
Suyūtī transmitted it in al-Hāwī lil-fatāwā (2:82); and Ibn Hammād in al-Fitan (1:229#642).
عن علي رضى الله عنه، قال: إذا نادى مناد من السماء: إن الحق في آل محمد، فعند ذلك يظهر المهدي على أفواه الناس، ويشربون حبه ولا يكون لهم ذكر غيره.
“‘Alī (Radi Allah Anhu) said: when the announcer will announce that the truth is in the family of Muhammad (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم), at that time everyone will be talking about Mahdī’s arrival and his love will be fed into them (in such a manner) that they will talk of nothing else but him.”
Suyūtī transmitted it in al-Hāwī lil-fatāwā (2:82); and Ibn Hammād in al-Fitan (1:229#642).
“Abū Jalad (Radi Allah Anhu) narrates: a disruption will arise which will be followed by another disruption. The first will be related to the second disruption as the lace is joined to its whip (meaning they will be closely related, either the second will immediately follow the first or their content will be similar). Then there will be the (disruption of) swords. It will be followed by another disruption in which all forbidden things will be declared permissible. Then the caliphate will come about, through the best person amongst the people. It will come about whilst he is sitting at home.”
Ibn Abī Shaybah narrated it in al-Musannaf (7:531#37754); and Suyūtī in al-Hāwī lil-fatāwā (2:65).
“‘Abdullāh ibn ‘Amr (Radi Allah Anhu) narrates: people will perform the pilgrimage together and will gather at ‘Arafāt without the Imām. So at Minā during their descent a revolt will pounce upon them like a dog (due to which) the tribes will pounce on one another. They will kill one another until the valley begins to flow within blood. (In this worried state) they will go to the best person amongst them to seek his refuge while he will be crying with his face touching the ka‘bah as (the narrator says) I am looking at his tears. So they will request him: please come! We want to take an oath of loyalty on your hand. He will say: it is very sad that you have broken so many promises and have shed so much blood. So, unwillingly, he will accept their oath. So when you find that person, you should take the oath on his hand because he will be Mahdī on earth as well as Mahdī in the heavens.”
Hākim narrated it in al-Mustadrak (4:503,504#8537); Ibn Hammād, al-Fitan (1:227, 341, 342 # 632, 987); Dānī, as-Sunan-ul-wāridah fil-fitan (5:1044, 1045 # 560); and Suyūtī in al-Hāwī lil-fatāwā (2:76).

Dear Ahlia
First of all we would like to state that on an earlier occasion we had
answered this query concerning Haqiqat ul Haqqani. This has however
been to an individual who wrote to us by e-mail. This time ofcourse,
as this query has been sent to our forum, namely, the Sheiknazimforum,
it would reach to many more people thus enabling us to clear up as to
how the article Haqiqat ul Haqqani came to be published in the website
www.sheiknazim2.com. Unlike in our earlier reply to this question we
will try to set out the facts in more detail so that there would be no
further misunderstanding on this issue.
In the early 1990's we received an audio cassette from Moulana Sheikh
Nazim, which contained a recorded lecture by Sheikh Adnan Kabbani.
Subsequently we were told to have this particular lecture edited and
to have the same printed. It was when the book was being printed that
Moulana Sheikh Nazim and Sheikh Adnan arrived in Sri Lanka. We then
first gave this book over to Sheikh Adnan for his approval, as this
was his lecture. Sheikh Adnan took about 10 days to go through this
book. This book was then presented to Moulana Sheikh Nazim by this
group of Mureeds who printed this book.
Moulana Sheikh Nazim was very happy with the book and after going
through it, the book was approved by Moulana Sheikh Nazim. Moulana
Sheikh Nazim also presented several of the copies of this book to a
lot of foreigners who were also present there at that time.
It must be also mentioned that the title Haqiqat ul Haqqani had been
given by Moulana Sheikh Nazim himself earlier. Thereafter this book
was circulated all over the world. So there is no doubt as to the
authenticity of the book. There is also no doubt on the fact that this
book was approved by Moulana Sheikh Nazim and also by Sheikh Adnan
Kabbani. Moulana Sheikh Nazim personally took many copies of Haqiqat
ul Haqqani to Cyprus with him when he left Sri Lanka on that occasion.
We also like to state here that we have copies of the book Haqiqat ul
Haqqani with Moulana Sheikh Nazim's signature in Arabic on it.
It was very much later that we heard of what Sunnah.org had to say
about it. We were of course very surprised and deeply puzzled at that
time because we knew that we had never received any such intimation
from Moulana Sheikh Nazim. In short the statement made in Sunnah.Org
was simply not true.
Now to go on to another relevant point This book contains high
mystical knowledge and may not be easily comprehensible to the
ordinary person. So it was advised that people who do not understand
the contents of this book should seek the advice of those more
knowledgeable in the subject of Ma'rifatullah or the Higher Knowledge.
As an example we can quote the writings of Sheikh ul Akbar Muhiyaddin
ibn al Arabi and the article Khatm ul Awliya - the Seal of Saints and
the Supreme Sacrifice which is also found in this website. It does not
stand to reason to stop the publication of a book because some people
may not be able to comprehend the realities discussed in a book. Do
people not publish books by Muhiyaddin Ibn al Arabi and Mansoor Al
Hallaj even though the common man may not be able to understand it.
Furthermore just because a person is incapable of understanding the
contents of a book because of its high knowledge it is improper to
condemn the book.
The `Knowledge' that will be brought out during the time of Seyyadina
Mahdi (alai) is going to be `so high' that all the knowledge and
wisdom that has been talked about upto today, including what has been
published by Sheikh ul Akbar Muhiyuddin ibn al Arabi will be in
comparison like kindergarten knowledge. At this time Mahdi (alai) will
be revealing the secret of the Holy Quran and this is for the people
of our times. This is also a reason as to why it is necessary to talk
about the Spiritual Realities and Ranks of the Sultan ul Awliya of our
time who is Moulana Sheik Nazim, who will be passing this secret onto
Seyyidina Mahdi (alai).
Now we will deal with how Haqiqat ul Haqqani came to being published
in www.sheiknazim.com. First of all we would like to say that the
website mentioned above was not done on our own initiative. We were
asked and ordered by Moulana Sheikh Nazim to start this website. This
was to be done so that the teachings of Moulana Sheikh Nazim will be
propagated to the world.
Moulana Sheikh Nazim thereafter sent Sheikh Adnan to Sri Lanka with
specific instructions to launch www.sheiknazim.com. Sheikh Adnan
arrived in Sri Lanka and launched www.sheiknazim.com on the 8th day of
August 2004 and one of the first articles that he asked us to
publish in this website was Haqiqat ul Haqqani. This was duly done
by us and subsequently all other articles that came into being in the
website took a gradual process of time. What is most important here is
that all the substance published in this website have been first
approved, confirmed and authorised by Moulana Sheikh Nazim himself.
It was only the next step that when the administrators of this
websites went to meet Moulana Sheikh Nazim in Cyprus that the great
good tidings to the world of taking 'Bayyath' through this website was
also given and approved by Moulana Sheikh Nazim. This website then
became the sole and exclusive website through which people could take
'Bayyath' and connect their hearts to Moulana Sheik Nazim and the Most
Distinguished Naqshabandi Tariqat.
We would like to further state that this website is run accordingly to
the likes and dislikes of Moulana Sheikh Nazim and in the manner that
he orders it to be so. This is the way that that this website has been
run up to date and not even one word is contained in this website
which Moulana Sheikh Nazim is not aware of. This is the reason that we
do not swerve or waver in our conviction in saying that this website
is highly authentic. Furthermore the administrators of this website
are in constant communication with Moulana Sheikh Nazim. If any person
is doubtful as to any of the claims made here they may feel free to
contact Moulana Sheikh Nazim in order to confirm same.
There is also an audio speech with us which was given in public in
Cyprus when we the administrators of this website visited Moulana
Sheik Nazim in February 2006 praising www.sheiknazim.com. If necessary
we may publish this in our website in the future. The only reason that
we did not publish this before is because we did not want to blow our
own trumpet. This speech is by Moulana Sheikh Nazim.
Now that we have resolved the doubts regarding the article Haqiqat ul
Haqqani and the authenticity of this website, please be kind enough to
let all those who have no access to our explanation be made aware of
the true state of affairs.
Please note also that since we are experiencing some technical
difficulties with the www.sheiknazim.com portal, www.sheiknazim2.com
has now taken its place as a replica website or twin website.
The Administrators of www.sheiknazim2.com and www.sheiknazim.com

Definition of Fellowship:
1. The companionship of individuals in a pleasant atmosphere.
2. A close association of friends sharing similar interests.
