Silent Traveler

Your heart is a drop in the ocean of opposites
It embraces the world with passion
And dances in the arms of the Cherubim
It laughs and cries, seeks and finds,
Praises yet bows in front of your mind
It runs away from the fool and the one
Who preys on the weak orphan and the blind
It seeks the company of the old and the poor
For they are the keepers of the gate of wisdom.
On this quest to Reality you are a silent traveler
And my soul is your companion from pre-Eternity
When we were specks of dust under the feet of Saint George
When we were seeds of light on the wings of Gabriel.
It's been a long time.
Our goal is to meet again, for we were once one.
