When Hajjah Najiha was young, she would help her mother, Her Eminence Hajjah Amina Adil (May Allah Subhana Ta 'ala raise her soul even higher) in holy service. Tomatoes and cucumbers, zattar and olive oil, cheese and bread, and eggs would be served by Hajjah Amina Haqqani and Hajjah Naziha for the people going for Hajj. They would serve breakfast for the 40-60 people every morning who were going on Hajj with H.E. Mawlana Shaykh Nazim. Before attending the Hajj, the Shaykh and murids would visit many of the holy maqams in Damascus. There they would visit the Ahl el-Bayt, (the family of the Prophet (saw)), his daughters and grandchildren and Bilal (ra), and many others, especially Sayyida Zainab (ra). It also includes the maqam al-Arba' een (the place of the forty living Saints), the Ashab al-Kahf (Companions of the Cave), and Mugharat ad-Dem (The Cave of Blood, where Qabil killed Habil).
When Hajjah Naziha was ten years old she would help her parents by guiding the visiting murids around the city of Damascus. She would not lose any of the murids. She would go to the front of the group and say, " Don't run." Then she would go to the back and say, " Go slow, " and that way she would not lose any people. She would tell the bus driver who was taking them around, " Don' t rush, I have a lot of people," she would not leave without the stragglers.
One woman was intending to go on Hajj was elderly and very big. She could not move very well, and they did not know how to get her in the bus. Hajjah Naziha figured it out. She told the elderly lady to take a step up and then grab the bar on the bus, and then Hajjah Naziha lifted her other foot up onto the step. The lady was very happy and said, " No one knows how to get me on the bus, but this little girl who has a big mind."
Masha' Allah.............!!
