The Haqqani Fellowship

Salam ladies!

I'm still learning about the tariqa and Mawlana! I just wondered how Mawlana and Hajjah Amina (may Allah bless her) knew eachother and how they got married ect...? I've seen pictures of them, and mashAllah they look so happy together.

Masalam and love.

Walaikum as Salam Wa Rahmatullah sis.

Here is an excerpt from: http://www.hakkanipost.com/en_pg_goster2.asp?menukod=MENU0041&k...

'Our Grandshaykh Abdullah Dagistani (qs) was living to streets upwards from where we were living. One day at a funeral of a Daghestani Shaykh, he met my father and said to him: “I would like to speak to you about a good cause. I have a student, whom I am very fond of and see as my son. He is from Cyprus and I would like your daughter’s hand in marriage for Sir Nazim”. I was very precious for my father and he taught long about this proposal. When he came home he told my brother and he remembered Sir Nazim from the derwish convent (dergah) and said: “If that’s the man that I saw in the mosque, he looked more like an angel than a man”.

We gave our answer to Abdullah Dagistani (qs) and he wrote a letter to Sir Nazim in Lefkosia, telling him to come. Within a week we had our religious wedding (niqah). The most interesting part of this occasion was that before none of this happened Abdullah Dagistani (qs) saw our beloved Prophet (sav) in his dream telling him: “Ask the hand of Sir Ali’s daughter for Sir Nazim”. While saying this the Prophet pointed his finger towards the sky. Shaykh Abdullah saw a frame surrounded by heavenly light and in it he could see the picture of Sir Nazim and Sultan Hajjah Emine. The Prophet then said: “Their niqah was made in Heaven".

In the years 1975 till 1976 Sultan Hajjah Emine lost her father Sir Hajji Ali and her mother Ayse. During her marriage to Shaykh Nazim El-Hakkani (qs), she had 5 children and lived in the Holy city of Damascus untill 1982. In those years Shaykh Nazim would frequently visit Cyprus. This valuable family still live in Lefke and have 14 beautiful grandchildren.'

wow mashAllah!!!! Thats beautiful, and to think their niqqah was made in Heaven! subhanAllah, really that is an amazing story. Thank you sis
salam alikom...how can you know it was made in heaven? this heaven no one can see but our profit salla allah alihi wasalam.its was ablessed marriage yes cause the father approved and they both are good people but beyond that limit we have no right. salam
As-salam aleykoum. It is well known that, according to the station of the saints, at some point they are authorized by Allah to read on the Preserved Tablets (that's how they know what they have to do each day, watch sohbats of Mawlana Shaykh Hisham on the levels of murshid on Sufi Live on that subject). It is also part of their duty to look and see if 2 persons are written to be togheter by Allah's will. Mawlana Shaykh Hisham told us many times that in the time of Grandshaykh Abdallah ad Daguestani, the parents of the futur husband and wife were always going to ask him (even when he was 7 years old) before they would engage their children. Like this, it creates stability in a community because happy mariages creates stability. It is also recomanded that anyone ask a real saint before he gets married if the name of his or her fiancé is writen next to his on the Preserved Tablets. Mawlana Shaykh Hisham has told us that we have to ask him first before guetting married and follow what he says (even if it is a negative answer) because it is according to Allah's will and it can save us from many troubles. So, talking about the marriage beetween Mawlana Shaykh Nazim (may Allah give him long life) and Hajja Amina (may Allah sanctify her secret) and saying that their marriage was made in heavens is perfectly authorized because it is perfectly true! GrandShaykh Abdallah himself read it on the Preserved tablets and transmitted Allah's will.

Wa min Allah at tawfiq.

Good day to everyone.
