The .name of the organisation as Decided in the Meeting held on 20th Nov .1993 at Khanqah Naqshbandia Khawaja Bazar Srinagar will be MARKAZ-I-NAQSHBANDIAH j&k,, after the name of the famous sufi saint of Hazrat KHAWAJA Syed Mohammad Bahuuddin Naqshbandi (R.A) of bukhara presently a city of central Asia whose decendants have contributed much towards the propogation of islam and knowledge, relegious instructions, Art and craft, Fine arts and architecture in kashmir valley

Objectives

To Propagate islam with a progressive and enlightened approach which is essentailly a true essence of islam.

To seek guidance for the bettement of muslims from the quran and sunnah and teaching of sufis and reshies

To register individuals, groups organasations to subscribe to the above said islamic approach.

to exchange materials and information among various muslim communities and sects.

Also for Research of naqshbandiah silsila.

the present presedent of the markaz is Syed Shad Hassan Naqshbandi, who will be responsible to a board of directors drawn from various parts of the state of J&K.


The Markaz will be registered as a trust or will be given any other legal Shape

The general Sectary of the centre is Syed Gh Hussain NAqshbandi (safapur)
