• who is behind the Haqqani Fellowship?

  A: a number of lovers of Mawlana Shaykh Nazim Adil al-Haqqani and his two caliphs Mawlana Shaykh Hisham Kabbani and Mawlana Shaykh Adnan Kabbani.

• is there any charge to join the Fellowship?

  A: no.

• Is the Fellowship open to the public or only to mureeds of Mawlana Shaykh Nazim?

  A: the Fellowship is open to all.

• What is the website all about?

• A: It is about association within the Naqshbandi-Haqqani Tariqah, and sharing the common bond of love for Sultan al-Awliya Mawlana Shaykh Nazim Adil al-Haqqani and his caliphs, and the love for awliyaullah in general.

• What can I do there?

  You can interact with other members in a variety of ways:

  • a) make friends
  • b) post topics of interest
  • c) listen to music
  • d) individual email
  • e) live chat
  • f) post photos
  • g) post videos
  • h) write on the main 'wall'
  • i) other games, widgets and applications which will be available shortly.
• Are chats conversations on the Fellowship logged?

  A: yes.

• What should I do if someone is abusive or posts inappropriate materials?

  A: contact one of the administrators (see Contact Info) and explain the issue. See the Terms of Service to see what constitutes a violation.

• what happens is someone violates the Terms of Service?

  A: they will be issued a warning on first incident, and if incidents continue after that will be removed at the discretion of the Administrators.

• How can I invite friends to join?

  Select "Invite" from the main menu. This will bring up the following Menu:
  Choose either to use an existing email service like Google, Yahoo, MSN, AOL, etc.
  orChoose to type in the individual emails of your friends.
  or Choose to import a list of emails.

  The Invite Widget will then import your emails or use the ones you've typed. You review the selection, then type a small invitation and click on "send invitations". Your invitation will be sent to all the friends' emails you have selected, with a link to this site.

• does the Fellowship provide a way to list Sufi centers, mosques, zawiyas, tekkes or khaniqahs?

  A: currently we display the centers from Sufilive.com but in the future we plan to provide means to enter your own center and manage its events, etc.

• I don't speak English well; how can I participate in this Forum?

  A: we suggest that you join the Fellowship and create a Group for your language and encourage others who speak your language to join the Group. Be sure there isn't a Group for your Language already created.

• Do you have statistics of the locations of members?

  A: not yet. We are working on developing that feature.

• I see a lot of groups for different Shaykhs or Representatives of Mawlana Shaykh. Are these sponsored or endorsed by the Haqqani Fellowship?

  A: No. The only groups sponsored by the site are for Sultan al-Awliya Mawlana Shaykh Nazim Adil al-Haqqani, and his two caliphs Mawlana Shaykh Hisham Kabbani and Mawlana Shaykh Adnan Kabbani. All other such groups were created by members and HF does not sponsor or endorse these groups in any way.

• Is this website sponsored by Mawlana Shaykh Nazim or his two caliphs?

  A: No. But Shaykh Nazim has endorsed the site through Shaykh Hisham. Those who founded it are lovers (muhibeen) of Sultan al-Awliya and his caliphs.

• My computer seems to become very slow when this site is up. Why is that?

  A: This is usually caused by the embedded sufilive broadcast in the left column. To disable it click on the "Stop" button in the embedded player's left corner.

• The chat room seems to freeze up often and require reboot. Is there any solution to this?

  A: Check out this solution.

• Is there a way I can advertise my business on this site?

  A: not yet, but we are working on it.
