Method of making Muqarabah with one's Sheikh
( taken from Intro to Rabita Sharifa Naqshabandi Muqarabah . SUFI KIDS)
.. The Most venerable Khawaja Baha'uddin Shah Naqshabandi (Q) advised someone who gazed intently to his holy face to instead focus on the point between his eyebrows, keeping the conviction that his every state is visible and comprehensible to the Sheikh. In this manner, by drawing the dignity and majesty of the Sheikh upon himself ; he advised that he must purify his inner beeing through this method.
Allahumma SALLI 'ala MUHAMMADIN wa 'ala Ali MUHAMMADIN wa Sallim
