"O David!...."

Bismillah Al Rahman Al Raheem

Wahhabi bin Munabbih narrated," Allah revealed to Prophet David (Alaihi sallam) in Zabur ( Psalms): " O David! Certainly a Prophet will come after you, whose name will be Ahmad and Muhammad. He will be truthful , and will be the leader.
I will never be annoyed with him; nor will make Me annoyed. I have forgiven in advance all of his slippings( committed) in the past and( also)those to come. Mercy has had upon his Ummah( people). I have bestowed upon his Ummah the same reward for offering the optional worship( Nawafil) which was given to the Prophets ( for their optional worship); and have made such worships obligatory (Fara'id) for them which were made obligatory for the Prophets and the Messengers. They( I.e. the people of The Holy Prophet) will come to me on the Day of Judgment in such a condition that their lights will be similar to the lights of the Prophets'.
Allah(SWT) continued to reveal: " O David! I have excelled Muhammad and his Ummah( people) to all the Ummahs( peoples) "

Allahumma SALLI 'ala MUHAMMADIN wa 'ala MUHAMMADIN wa Sallim
