Those are they from whom We accept the best of what they do, and overlook their evil deeds. (They are) among the owners of the Garden. This is the true promise which they were promised (in the world).
Al-Ahqaf: Sura #46 | Makkah
From Tafsir Ibn Kaseer
It is in Abu Yala Mosli and also in Masnand Ahmad;
Prophet Muhammad Sal-lal-la-hu-a-lai-hi-wa-salam said:
When a pious, obedient Muslim
Attains the age of forty
Allah cuts –back his reckoning (makes light his questioning)
Attains the age of sixty
Allah blesses him with His obedience
Attains the age of seventy
The dwellers of heaven start loving him
Attains the age of eighty
Allah makes his virtues steadfast and unfading and erases and obliterates his vice.
And when he
Attains the age of ninety
Allah forgives his future and past sins , makes him an intercessor for his family and it is written in the heavens that is a captive of Allah in His land.
Dear brothers and sisters the question we need to answer: Should we neglect our elders and /or force them in old age homes or should we serve them and seek their blessings?
