Hadis-e- Noor

Hazrat Jabir bin Abdullah Ansari (Radiallahu Ta’ala Anh) reports: I asked, “Ya Rasoolullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) may my father and mother be sacrificed upon thee! Tell me, what did Almighty Allah create first (before He created anything else)?”

The Holy Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) replied:

“O Jabir!  verily it is the  Noor (Light) of your Nabi that Allah created first. After creating it (Noor-e-Muhammadi)  Allah created all goodness in it and then He created all other things. And when He created the Noor (Noor-e-Muhammadi) He kept it near Him for twelve thousand years in the state of  Qurb (His closeness and familiarity).

He divided the Noor (Noor-e-Muhammadi) into four parts. From one part He created the Arsh (Throne) and the Kursi (Divine Chair), from the second the angles that carry (lift) the Arsh (Throne),

from the third the angles who stand guard to the Kursi (Divine Chair) and kept the fourth part in the state of  love for twelve thousand years.

He then divided the fourth part further into four parts. From the first He created the Qalam (Pen), from the second the Loh (Divine Tablet), from the third He created the Jannat (Heaven) and He kept the fourth part in the state of fear for twelve thousand years.

He then divided the fourth part further into four parts. From the first He created the Angles, from the second the Sun, from the third the Moon and Stars and then He kept the fourth part in the state of Rija (fulfillment and satisfaction) for twelve thousand years.

He then divided the fourth part further into four parts. From the first He created Intelligence, from the second Knowledge and Wisdom, from the third Modesty and Tauwfiq ( Guidance and ability) and then He kept the fourth part in the state of Hiya (Modesty) for twelve thousand years.

Then Allah blessed the fourth part and it sweated. From its sweat one lack forth thousand sweat drops ejected. From every drop of the sweat Allah created the Ruh (soul) of a Nabi ( Allah’s Guide) or the Ruh of a Rasool (Allah’s Messanger).

Then the souls of the Nabis breathed and from their breaths Allah created all the Awlias ( Allah’s friends),the  Martyrs, the Pious and the Obedient,  who will be born in the world up to  the day of Qayamat (Doomsday).

So  the Arsh (Throne), the Kursi (Divine Chair) from my Noor, the exalted Angles from my Noor, the Pious from my Noor, Angles from my Noor, the Jannat ( Heaven) and all its gifts and good things from my Noor, Angles of all the seven skies  from my Noor , the Sun the Moon and the Stars from my Noor, Intelligence and Guidance from my Noor, the Martyrs, the Obedient and the Pious from the Faiz (benevolence) from my Noor.

Then Allah created twelve thousand curtains of secrecy and Allah kept the fourth part of my Noor in every curtain of secrecy for a thousand years and these curtains of secrecy were the states of obedience, worship, rest and repose, patience, truthfulness and faith.

When He took it (Noor-e-Muhammadi) out of these curtains of secrecy and fixed it on the earth the East and the West got illuminated as a lamp lights up in a dark night.

Then Allah created Adam a.s. from earth and kept my Noor in his forehead, then He transmitted it (Noor-e-Muhammadi) to Sheet a.s. (son of Adam a.s.) and then it was transmitted from one pious person to another till it reached Abudlla ( the father of Rasoolullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam)  son of Abdul Mutalib and was transferred to the womb of  Amia ( the mother of Rasoolullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) the daughter of Wahab. Then Allah brought me to this world and made me the leader of all Rasools ( Messangers of Allah), the last Nabi, Rehma-tu-lil-Aalmeen (blessing for all worlds) and the guide of the pious.

Oh Jabir! so was your Nabi created.”

Masha Allah, this has enlightened my heart

Shah Naqshband on Fellowship

The Imam of the Naqshbandi Order said, "طريقتنا الصحبة والخير في الجمعية - Tariqatuna as-suhbah wa 'l-khayru fi 'l- jam`iyyah" - “Our way is fellowship, and the goodness is in the gathering”.

Definition of Fellowship:

1. The companionship of individuals in a pleasant atmosphere.

2. A close association of friends sharing similar interests.
